Creating a CD PLayer in Photoshop Tutorial Page 1

This tutorial is the first step to making a realistic cd player image shown below.

This tutorial will show you how to make the basic shape needed to make your cd player.
First off you are going to comprise your cd player shape of 3 object. A circle, a square, and another circle.

Center your square and place your first circle on the bottom of it.

And do the same to the top.

Now merge your layers.

Now this shape is a bit to long, so we are going to take some of the middle out of it. Use your square selection tool to select some of the middle, and press delete.

Now move them together.

Now go to edit> transform> rotate and rotate your shape

Now you have your basic shape.
