Karamendos Cell
This tutorial learns you how to make Karamendos cell (slime). This is a very simple, step by step tutorial for beginners and intermediate 3ds Max users. There is three chapter.
1.Modeling

***Let’s begin***
*Modeling:
1. Create sphere with 35 radius and 32 segment like on picture pic.1.1

2. Convert to the Edit poly pic.1.2

3. Right click on Perspective view and select <Wireframe> pic.1.3

4. Right click on sphere and select <Convert to< Convert to Editable poly> and select polygon about 20-30. pic.1.4

5. Use <Extrude> tool and type 30 in Extrusion height box, like on picture pic.1.5 and pic.1.6

6. Right click on <Select and Uniform scale> and in <offset world> type 50. pic.1.7 and pic.1.8

7.Extrude again for 10, then again go to right click on <Select and Uniform scale> an type in <offset world> 180.Again go to Extrude panel and extrude for 2, then again go to right click on <Select and Uniform scale> an type in <offset world> 145. At last time Extrud again for 3.

7. Turn off <polygon select> tool. pic.2.0

8. Go to <Modifier list> and find <MeshSmooth> modifier. pic.2.1

9. In the <Subdivision Amount> menu set Iterations: 2. pic.2.2

Well, that's it for all the modeling part of this tutorial!!!
*Materials:
1. Open Material Editor by pressing < M > on you keyboard. In Material Editor press Geth material>. pic.2.3

2. In the Materilas/Maps Browser select <Architectural> pic.2.4

3. In the <Templates> menu select <water> pic.2.5
pic.2.5
4. Click on Diffuse color and set R,G,B like on picture pic.2.6

5. Set all parameters like on picture pic.2.7

That is all about Materials, just drag material to the model.
*Lighting:
1.In <Create> panel select <Light> then select <Omni> pic.2.8

2. In < Intensity/Color/Attenuation> set <Multiplier> to 5.56 and color
Red: 0 Green: 128 Blue:218 and place omni1 in centar of model like on picture pic.2.9

3. Go to <Modify> panel pic.3.0 then scroll down and find <Atmosphere&Effects> pic.3.1.
Click <Add> and select <Volume Light>, then select Volume Light from list and click
<Setup> button. pic.3.1

4. In the <Environment> menu set the parameters like on picture pic.3.2

5. Create one more <Omni> light and place like on picture pic.3.3 and pic.3.4

6. Set parameters for <Omni2> like on picture pic.3.5

Very important thing: When you render use <Default Scanline 3d studio max tutorial
Rendere> and render in Any viewport except <Perspective>.
Now it's time to render this!
