In this tutorial you will learn how to create matrix cell. We will use one GeoSphere and one wire material.
1. First create GeoSphere with setting like on picure.
2. Then right click on GeoSphere and convert to Editable Poly
3. Click on Polygon selection tool and select all polygon on GeoSphere
4.Ok, now we gona little bevel polygon. Click on Bevel tool, and use settings from picture.
5. Next, we will extrude polygon. Click on Extrude tool above Bevel tool, and use same settings I am.
6. Right click on Scale tool, and scale it to 60% .


7. Now just repeat Extrude operation with same settings which we use above, and after you extrude polygon again, turn off Polygon selection tool.

8. In the Editable Poly menu scroll down to Subdivison surface, and use same setting like me.

9. Now we gone add some Noise Modifier. In the Modifier list scroll down and click on Noise Modifier. Set parameters like on picture below.

10. We finished with modeling, and now we will create wire material. Select material slot and use setting like on pic.

11. In the difuse map add Swirl map. Use setting below.

12. Now you can drag your material to model and render.
You should get something like this.
